This is a double storey side extension in a conservation area in Bristol designed to provide a bigger kitchen/dining space and a larger bedroom upstairs. The double storey element matches the existing external form and materials (stone cladding, bath stone quoins, timber, frame doors). The entrance has been moved from the front to the side and a with a traditional Cottage porch, reinstating an old opening on the side elevation.
