This is a project for a single storey rear extension in a detached house in Kingswood.

The project consisted in the demolition of the existing conservatory which wasn’t well connected to the rest of the house, and was too cold in winter and very hot in summer.

The new extension allowed a larger open space with a new kitchen, an island and a sitting area with sliding doors to connect the space with the garden.

The extension’s design has a contemporary flat roof with lantern skylights to provide the space with plenty of natural light.
